“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” (James 1:5)

Let us pray for all our ServeCanada/ServeBeyond Missionaries and Agents:
Scott & Karen Wind Vandenberg – Mexico
Praise God, several much-needed maintenance projects have been completed in the past six months. Staff are also grateful for a recent pay raise as we work toward meeting Baja’s minimum wage. Please pray, funds are critically low, and we currently can’t cover staff wages through September. Pray for Juan and Lupita as they travel to visit family amid car trouble and cartel-related tensions. Lift up each resident and staff member, that God’s love would deeply impact their lives. Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and encouragement. Your partnership brings dignity, care, and Christ’s love to seniors with no one else.
Helen Blackburn – Bolivia
Always praise for my faithful partners in prayer and support. Praise that Heather had a good trip to the States and that her Transfer to SIM Canada went well. Pray for our faithful National staff and our Dorm parents in Bolivia. Pray for Ronaldo as he works for me, taking care of bills and buildings while I am in Canada.
Dan Byrne – Ottawa Evangelism Partnership
Please have people pray for me. I was diagnosed with Myocarditis at the end of last month, and it looks like there is going to be a long recovery. I am still in pain as I write this, and going back to the hospital for more tests. Please pray for the house churches and my work with Connecting Streams, that the work would move forward with others, even as I need to scale back during my recovery.
Robert & Leslee Oudman – Nicaragua
Pray for our staff, both the agronomists and the pastors in their interactions in different communities. Pray that as the harvest comes off this month, farmers will give thanks to God. Pray that those attending community bible studies are motivated to apply their knowledge in trusting God with their lives and sharing their joy with their neighbors. Pray for safety in travel. Traffic conditions can be very complicated and since we get around on motorcycles, we need God’s protection every day.
Siavosh & Sophia – Ontario
An Iranian Muslim-background, converted Christian family has been arrested by the Turkish government and transferred to a refugee camp. They have now been moved to a second refugee camp near the Iranian border, this camp is specifically for people the Turkish authorities intend to deport to Iran. If they are deported to Iran, they will face certain danger to their lives under the Islamic regime’s laws. Many Iranian Christian leaders around the world are working to help them relocate to a safe country, such as Canada, which, as far as we know, is currently the only country open to receiving them. Please pray they can come to Canada safely.
Sammy Kabyemera – Uganda
By God’s grace Sammy is back from Kyaka Refugee Camp, Uganda. Many souls were saved, believers recommitted, and refugees and orphans received food and clothing. Churches and leaders turned from the prosperity gospel to sound doctrine. Muslims converted to Christianity. Pray for their spiritual growth, the Outreach to Schools needing Bibles, Sammy’s upcoming fall mission trip, and more needed support.
Joy – Creative Access Country
Please pray for my trip to Egypt at the end of September. Specifically, the situation in Egypt is not stable. Pray for the Sudanese refugees in Egypt who are suffering and have no jobs or food.
