Give

The Benevolence Policy states that “because people in need matter to God, as part of the ministry of the EFCC, benevolent financial assistance may sometimes be provided to individuals or families who are in a time of crisis or who are experiencing financial or material needs.” This help could be for medical situations, to alleviate poverty, and to provide food and shelter and other basic needs.

Pray for Canada

We welcome April Reimer to launch us into July/August’s prayer time. April has an incredible heart for reaching our country of Canada with the Good News. A Free Church alumnus (Manitoba), April is involved in a variety of ministry-oriented and mission-oriented projects within Canada. book reviews

Book Reviews

February is set aside as Black History month. With that in mind, what are some good books to read? There are several for sure but a couple of books top the list of recommended reads, especially for those looking for something to help them grapple with this issue and have a better perspective. The Sprit of Justice by Jemar Tisby and Reading While Black by Esau McCaulley.

Ministerial Accreditation

Seminar 1: This three-part seminar builds on EFCC Orientation. It explores how EFCC history, ethos, and polity work in the local church context and how we ought to handle disagreements over practices linked to “in non-essentials, charity.”
Seminar 2: This seminar will explore the role of the Bible in ministry in the 21st century in the EFCC in light of the history of the church. Topics include the nature of Scripture as the book of the church.
