The Joy of Confession

“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time…” (taken from Psalm 32:1-6)

Missionaries in Canada, really?

A far more significant question is: Why??? Dan Byrne, who leads ministries like “Ottawa City Church Network” and “Ottawa Evangelism Partnership” as part of the EFCC ServeCanada initiatives, shares authentic experiences of working with marginalized individuals. He often encounters questions such as, “Am I important to you? or “Do you truly care?” Amidst frequently chaotic ministry environment, he provides insight into his purpose.

Ministry Orientation

Are you currently in ministry, or are you planning to be in one? The EFCC Ministry Orientation is scheduled for May. Part of this orientation is to learn more about the EFCC’s Historical Heritage, our Character and Calling, Congregationalism, our Statement of Faith, Covenant of Ethics and Ministerial Accreditation, Church Boards and Teams, and the Ministries of the EFCC, including ServeBeyond/ServeCanada and the Districts of Canada, where our 140-plus churches continue to minister to their local communities.

Conflict Resolution Training

Conflict is often the most misunderstood aspect of human relationships – and yet it is so common. In conjunction with the Transitional Leadership Network, we are offering a one-day Conflict Resolution Training. The speaker is Darrin Hotte, who, with 35 years of leadership experience, specializes in conflict resolution. It is scheduled for May 15, 2026 (right after the EFCC Ministry Orientation) and will be held at the Robert G. Kuhn building on the TWU Campus.
