A Special General Meeting (SGM) has been called by the EFCC Board of Directors in response to a requisition from churches holding 5% of voting rights in the EFCC. The SGM will be held online on May 3, starting at 9am PDT (10am MDT). The delegates of the SGM do not need to be the same people as those chosen to attend the Annual General Meeting, but they can be. An agenda with full details was sent to all EFCC churches and pastors on March 26 (This information is available on request from sgm@efcc.ca).
“Resolved that the current Board of Directors comprising the current duly elected members as listed below is hereby affirmed and fully authorized to continue their duties and responsibilities as outlined in the EFCC Constitution.”
Please note that this SGM is separate from — and in addition to — this year’s AGM. This meeting is of considerable importance. EFCC churches are urged to prioritize participating in it. Your church’s board will need to be involved to register delegates.
