THE 2026 EFCC AGM WILL BE HELD AT WINNIPEG EFC, MANITOBA
The agenda for this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will include the 2027 budget and 2025 financial statements.
What is a Delegate?
The following information is paraphrased from the EFCC Constitution (2025), Articles 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3.
Who Can Be a Conference Delegate?
- Delegates are members in good standing of Evangelical Free Church of Canada churches who have been duly appointed and designated by their churches to represent their church to Conference.
- In addition, the Directors, the President, the Superintendent (or Representative) of each District, the Director of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada National Mission, the Director of the Evangelical Free Church of Canada International Mission, and all EFCC career missionaries who meet the qualifications of 5.3.1 shall be entitled to vote at the Conference.
- All voting delegates shall present proper credentials to the Committee on Credentials at EFCC Conference.
How Many Delegates can a Church Send?
- Each EFCC church is entitled to be represented at Conference by four (4) delegates for the first fifty of its membership (or fraction thereof).
- It can send one (1) additional delegate for each additional fifty members (or fraction thereof) to a maximum total of eight (8) delegates.
- In addition, it can send a maximum of three (3) EFCC-accredited ministry personnel.
- A maximum of 11 (8 delegates plus 3 EFCC-accredited ministry personnel) may represent a church.
What Can Delegates do?
- Delegates may express the interests and opinions of the congregation they officially represent, by speaking to motions and issues and by voting on Conference business items.

Each delegate at EFCC AGM 2026 may exercise the right to vote until EFCC AGM 2027 unless that right is rescinded by the delegate’s church. In that case, the church is entitled to appoint a new delegate.
- It is expected that delegates will convey a report of Conference business and highlights to their congregations.
What do Delegates Need to Know?
- Delegates need to know the business that will be discussed and motions to be voted upon at Conference.
- Member churches will be sent written notice of the place, date, time and agenda of the EFCC AGM at least sixty days before it convenes.
- In the event that member churches inadvertently fail to receive such notice, resolutions passed and business conducted at the EFCC Conference remain valid.
- Sufficient information to permit a delegate to form a reasoned judgment on a decision to be made will be mailed to each Conference registrant.
