CANADIAN PACIFIC DISTRICT

The CPD is part of the EFCC which, is a movement of churches and church plants across Canada which exists to help lives be transformed by the power of the gospel.

The CPD is made up of 22 churches within the geographical area that covers everything North East of Hope, all the way up to the Yukon Territories of British Columbia.

The Canadian Pacific District is like a Co-op, an association made up of member churches that are: Christ centered, evangelical.

DAN CARLAW

District Superintendent

Dan has pastored in the Canadian Pacific District (CPD) for the past 30 years – serving in the communities of Smithers, McBride, and Prince George.  He’s been married to his high school sweetheart Marilyn for 29 years.  They have three boys – Brendan (19), Marshall (15), and Grayson (13).

Dan began as a full-time District Superintendent for the CPD in January of 2023.  He is looking forward to serving and encouraging our pastors and churches in the days ahead.

DEB HOLBROOK

District Administrator

With the district office operating out of Grace Bible Church in Vernon, Deb Holbrook finds it fulfilling to work as the Church Administrator for GBC and the Administrative Assistant for the CPD. Deb brings her passion for helping others and desire for structure in the office, to her role with the CPD.

Deb is married to Allan, has four adult children and 14 wonderful grandkids. In her free time she enjoys gardening, golfing and spending time in the pool with all those grandkids.

PAUL FORD

CPD Board Chair

Paul is in his 10th year of pastoring in Ashcroft. He has spent the majority of his working life in various aspects of the agricultural industry, from mechanic to management. Paul came into the pastorate as a layman. In the church, he has served as a Sunday School teacher, Bible study leader, and board chair, and has also preached on Sundays in the pastor’s absence.

Paul has been married to his wife, Joyce, for almost 45 years. They have three adult children, two of whom are married, and 5 teenage grandchildren.

His hobbies include fixing machines, woodworking, and being outside.

As board chair, he hopes to give leadership to the board team and the district, and help facilitate completing some long-term projects they would like to see implemented.
