MARVIN PENNER

District Superintendent

Marvin grew up as a pastor’s kid and has been familiar with the up’s and down’s of ministry life. He earned his Bachelor of Theology from Ontario Bible College, and a Master’s in Church History from Regent College in Vancouver. Martin has pastored with the EFCC since earning his masters and served on the APD District board for 10 years. He currently is serving at the national level as the chair for EFCC Governance Committee.

Marvin is married to Colleen and they have raised four children together, and currently provide a care home for a young man with special needs. They love reading, camping and a good cup of tea or coffee with friends around a campfire. Marvin also spend time work on motorcycles or riding them. Perhaps one day soon they will ride into your church parking lot on a Sunday morning to offer encouragement and support?
