Sammy Kabyemera – Uganda
As Sammy prepares to leave for Uganda in October to serve in mission work, please pray for safety and good health; pray that many people will hear God’s Word, open their hearts, and receive salvation. Pray for faithful donors to help support the ministry. Pray that refugee families find hope; pray that church leaders accept the true doctrine of the Bible and focus on discipleship. Also, pray that Muslim communities will encounter Christ and respond to the Gospel.
Scott & Karen Wind Vandenberg – Mexico
Please pray for Buen Samaritano as we face a significant financial need. Our available funds have been depleted, and at this point we do not have enough to send the full amount needed to pay our faithful staff who care for the residents each day. We are deeply grateful for their commitment. Please pray for God’s provision, trusting with us that He knows the need and will provide in His way and timing.

Pray for alertness to new outreach opportunities in Nashville while we continue existing Canadian ministries online and by telephone. Pray for what seems like an endless string of administrative tasks related to our move from Montreal to Nashville.

Continue to pray for President Samuel Aberia as he guides and coordinates the work of the 170 Free Churches in seven different regions. Pray for more workers to lead the several new church plants.

Praise the Lord for the fundraising for the school supplies for Egypt; I reached my goal. Please pray for the Christmas fundraising that I will start in October as the need is big. And please keep praying for the poor people in Egypt.
Lina and David Cheng – Japan
Please pray the Lord would provide for our Ministry Expense Fund in Japan. Pray the Lord brings more new moms and children to join the two events (for kids and moms) in October. May the Lord bless the three events and activities to reach out to the Chinese students and young people in Tokyo, Japan.
Robert & Leslee Oudman – Nicaragua
Agriculture is a major force in the local economy. Pray with us for the growing season. Pray for sufficient rains and a bountiful harvest and that the Lord of the harvest be praised! Pray for our interactions with the Nicaraguan authorities – that we honour God in all we do and that people would see God through each one of our actions.
Julsain Blanc – Haiti
Pray for an increase in members in the Montreal Church and wisdom and revelation to preach God’s word. And pray for mission field work in Haiti, where we need financial support to feed the orphans every month, and to complete the project of complex building construction. The purpose of the building is to: train new pastors and local pastors, a library center for students, for distributing food, water, and clothing, a conference center, and a guesthouse for missionaries. We have already completed 30% of the construction. This project is located in Cap-Haïtien, on the north side of Haiti. Now, we are in the process to raise funds to complete this project for Haitian churches. Pray for God to open the hearts of friends and churches to give to this cause.
Dan Byrne – Ottawa Evangelism Partnership
Please pray for Noemi and Keiden as they return to school, and for Aiko as she considers her next steps after graduating from Concordia. Connecting Streams is seeking a new National Director, and Dan is helping navigate interim leadership. Please pray also for expanding refugee and inner-city ministry opportunities with churches, and for Dan as he speaks at an EFCC missions festival in Thunder Bay at the end of October.
Children’s Shelter of Cebu
Pray for protection from wildfire smoke dritiing in from Borneo, that as it spreads over Cebu our children will be protected. For some time the mayor of Cebu had to close all the schools. The shelter also had to be shut down and children were required to wear masks. Pray that the children and staff will suffer no side effects from the smoke.
Arvid Olson – EFCC ServeBeyond Ambassador to the Philippines
Thanks to all of you who prayed for my recovery from the 7 weeks spent in the hospital because of a fractured pelvis. Recovery is a long road and sometimes painful process so your prayers are much appreciated. Pray for my wife Ruth also as this can be a very difficult time for her as well.
