Establishing and Strengthening Evangelical Free Churches

The primary purpose of the District is to glorify God by cooperatively building the church of Jesus Christ. We are an association of member churches united by a common commitment to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, a shared Statement of Faith, Character and Calling, and commitment to the Word of God. Regional gatherings are held periodically throughout the district and every two years, the EFCC holds a National conference.

The Central District of the Evangelical Church of Canada represents EFCC congregations in Manitoba and Ontario. It is one of EFCC’s 5 districts.

There are 22 churches, including six Chinese churches, two Korean churches, one Iranian church, and one Filipino church. Combined church membership is about 1,900, with an average weekly attendance of 3,300.
