Theology Conference 2025
Greetings friends across the EFCC!
We are anticipating a great 2025 Theology Conference. Our speaker Carmen Joy Imes will help us explore the theme of Being God’s Family; which seems deeply important in our divided world. Speaker
Dr. Carmen Joy Imes
Associate Professor of Old Testament at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, Southern California
Dr. Carmen Joy Imes previously served as associate professor of OT at Prairie College in Alberta, where she and her family attended Mt. Olive Evangelical Free Church. She is the author of Bearing God’s Name: Why Sinai Still Matters and Being God’s Image: Why Creation Still Matters. Her next book will release soon: Becoming God’s Family: Why the Church Still Matters.
Carmen has a YouTube channel where she releases weekly Torah Tuesday videos and you can find her writing on various websites, including Christianity Today, The Well, and The Politics of Scripture blog. Carmen is passionate about equipping the church to engage the Old Testament well and to see its relevance for the Christian life.

PRICING
Childcare not available. There will also be no live-stream of the Conference sessions, including the AGM.
Refund Policy: Full refund of registration fees will be given if cancellation notice with reimbursement request is received by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. After that date, only 50% of reimbursement fees will be eligible for reimbursement.

Rate: $129+ tax per night for a Coast King Room or Coast Two Queen room, based on double occupancy ($20 charge for each additional guest). Reservation includes breakfast and complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport.
