AFRICA

IT and Library Management

Liberia – We are in need of someone to come and work as a community resource person for our pastors, students and local community members. This involves running a computer lab, library, and networking pastors with technology. The right person will be able to adapt to local technology and find ways to encourage better use of resources for sharing the gospel as well as discipling both pastors and students.
-Computer lab set up: We have the location and equipment, but need the expertise to help us make it happen.
-Webpage design and support for local pastors and ministries.

Teacher

Liberia – Fundamentals of literacy training is needed for both private and public schools. Our methodology has been tested and proven to work with our Liberian learners but we need to have more support for implementing the program. As a teacher you will do active training with local teachers, and then observe and support them as they use the methods in their various classrooms.

Requirements: Take “The Writing Road to Reading” training in Canada. Use the material developed in Liberia based on this training.

Sharing the gospel is embedded in each lesson as many student don’t know Jesus.

Farming

Liberia – We need help to advance our chicken farming so as to have unlimited amounts of chicken manure, as well as eggs and meat.

Requirements: experience working with chickens, some ability to do carpentry work.

You will be training someone with life-skills in raising chickens. This will include opportunities for evangelism and discipleship as you work one-on-one.

Experts on agriculture and horticulture

Liberia – We are looking for additional team members for our Grassroots Family Farm project, to help support growing operations, dealing with challenges with pest control, weather adaptation, nutrients for plants etc.

Requirements: As a team member you will need to meet annually and make at least a primary visit to the field site. You need to have some proven success in growing vegetables, especially tomatoes.

Construction Team Lead

Come bring your skills and passion for sharing Jesus to Kenya, and help take lead on our youth camp construction. Well suited to short term shorter or longer terms are welcome (bible school not required).

This opportunity in Africa is looking for someone to take on the role of Pastor for New Gate Church associated with Grassroots Ministries. Seminary training is an asset. Trainer & Discipleship Leader

This opportunity is for someone who is passionate about coming along side our personnel in Liberia to work with those who are apart of New Gate Church and the Grassroots Ministries. Youth Worker/Intern

This role primarily works with youth programs as apart of the existing ministry in Africa. There would be some work with Drama Ministries and Leader training as part of the role. This role is better suited for a Single Male due to demographics in the area. A knowledge of spiritual warfare, impact of poverty and impact of war an asset for this role.

ASIA

Educators

Philippines – This is best suited for folks who have a degree in any subject (PDP not necessarily required) who have a passion for teaching students of various ages in the Philippines. This can also include those who have coaching experience (basketball, volleyball, soccer, rugby, track, swimming, tennis, weight-training, etc…) or have served as Chaplains. This can also work as part of teaching practicum for those looking to complete their PDP. Please fill out the application for more information on start dates etc.. Come and partner with our personnel in Asia church planting and doing outreach in the community. Japan – This role includes contributing to overall church leadership and vision alongside existing Japanese, English and Chinese ministries and pastors. This person should have a heart for reaching people in greater Tokyo for Christ, both Japanese and expatriates. Hold a Master’s degree or equivalent from an evangelical seminary. Unreservedly sign he EFCC “Gospel Truths” statement of faith. Be willing to fundraise their support or be willing to do bi-vocational ministry with the possibility of receiving a small stipend from the church in future.

Mexico – There is always a place for you to share your gifts at El Buen Samaritano Seniors Home. The full time home always has a project on the go that you can come and be a part of. There are ongoing construction projects, regular cleaning/maintenance, caring for and spending time with the residents, administration help. Spanish language is an asset but not required. This opportunity can be a place to serve for youth groups, church groups or families who are looking for a short term or team stay. There is also opportunity for longer stays to serve and share love with the residents. Any skills are welcome. Assistant Director – Kids Ministry

Bolivia- Candelero Street Kids has an opportunity for Assistant Director of the Kids Ministry along with our existing personnel. This would include helping with the existing ministries at the support centre and boy’s home in Tarija, Bolivia. A grasp of the Spanish language is very important.
