SUMMARY:Part 3 - Praying the Lord's Prayer
DESCRIPTION:“Jesus said\, This is how you should pray: Father\, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. Give us each day the food we need\, and forgive us our sins\, as we forgive those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation. ” (Luke 11:2-4 NLT) \n\nWe are now doing video intros for the Prayer Guide! To watch this month’s Prayer intro\, click here. \n\nRequests\nGive us each day the food we need. \n“Tell God what you need\, and thank Him for all he has done.” (Philippians 4:6) \n\nEFCC Conference \nAs we prepare to gather together as the Free Church family next month\, let’s spend time aligning our hearts with God’s\, and desiring what he wants for our Free Church association. Pray that this will be a time of refreshment and renewal for all who come. Please also pray for our speaker\, Matthew St. John\, as he leads the main sessions\, and for all our workshop speakers\, as well as the business session. \n\nChurches without Pastors \nAcross the EFCC\, there are many churches without pastors. Let us pray that these churches find pastors that the Lord can use to shepherd their flock for His glory and their good. \n\nEvangelical Free Church of the Philippines \nPray for the preparations being made for the upcoming National Annual Conference. This will be held on May 12-15\, 2026 in Tacloban City\, Leyte. We have more delegates registered than ever before. Pray for the 1 million pesos that the leaders need to raise to cover the subsidy for the delegates who are in need of help. Pray for the powerful demonstration of God’s presence through the messages and speakers. Pray God will use Rev. Kevin Kompelien\, the main speaker\, and other servants of God who will deliver God’s message. Pray for the completion of Vision 200 by 2026. This is to plant 200 churches in four years. We need to have 50 more to complete the vision. The stats are not as important as the community of believers worshipping our God and making disciples behind the numbers. Pray God will raise godly leaders who will set good examples for EFCP constituents. \n\nMental Health Awareness \nPray for the health of those in the EFCC family. Pray that God would grow them spiritually. Pray too for the mental health of our EFCC family members. We live in a world that can eat away at our mental health quite quickly. Pray for those who are struggling with their physical and mental health.

SUMMARY:Part 2 - Praying the Lord's Prayer
DESCRIPTION:“Jesus said\, This is how you should pray: Father\, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. Give us each day the food we need\, and forgive us our sins\, as we forgive those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation. ” (Luke 11:2-4 NLT) \n\nWe are now doing video intros for the Prayer Guide! To watch this month’s Prayer intro\, click here. \n\nConfession\nMay your Kingdom come…forgive us our sins. \n“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” (James 5:16) \nThe human condition of alienation from God and his ways has led to all kinds of suffering in our world. Here are some ways that we can both confess our won shortfalls and pray into the Kingdom of God coming on earth as it is in heaven. \n\nReflection \nThis month\, let’s take stock of our lives\, be grateful for forgiveness\, and come to God in confession. \n\nUkraine \nLet’s continue to uphold our brothers and sisters who are suffering in the midst of war. Pray that God’s justice and peace would come to this country. \n\nTearFund Canada \nThe EFCC’s official relief and development partner is TearFund Canada. They are partnering with local churches to bring a holistic gospel presence into a number of developing countries. \n\nIran \nMany of us are deeply troubled by the war that is going on in Iran. Pray for our brothers and sisters who have faced both persecution for their faith and now imminent bloodshed and terror. The fastest growing segment of the church exists in Iran. Pray that this country would experience God’s gift of peace. \n\nFree Church of Lebanon Partnership \nThe EFCC has a partnership with the Free Church in Lebanon which is able to reach into several Islamic countries in ways that most of us in the west are incapable of doing. Pray for the leaders of FEAL (Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon) Joseph Najem and Daniel Saab\, as they spread the Good News of Jesus in these days of turmoil and conflict.

DESCRIPTION:“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead\, and into an inheritance that can never perish\, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you\, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time” (1 Peter 1:3-5 NIV) \n\nLet us pray for all our ServeBeyond/ServeCanada Missionaries & Agents:\nHelen Blackburn – Bolivia\nPraise the Lord that He is constantly abiding and that our work and support are provided and prayed for. SUMMARY:Part 2 - The Love Month
DESCRIPTION:“Love never gives up\, never loses faith\, is always hopeful\, and endures through every circumstance.” (I Cor. 13:7)\n“Love each other. Just as I have loved you\, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:34-35) \n\nWe are now doing video intros for the Prayer Guide! To watch this month’s Prayer intro\, click here. \nLet us pray for all our EFCC Leaders:\nNeil Bassingthwaighte – ServeCanada Director\nPray for missionaries who are struggling with personal and family issues. These types of issues take so much time\, care\, and energy. Pray that their hearts and minds would be renewed by God’s Spirit. Pray for our EFCC leaders as they spend time together this month\, in prayer and seeking where God is taking our Free Church family. Pray for me as I prepare for speaking engagements. \n\nShaun Wick – President\nPray for wisdom\, protection\, and fruitful travel as I represent the EFCC in Canada and internationally. Pray for provision for churches seeking pastors or ministry staff\, and for a growing burden to share the Gospel and pray for one another. Pray that the Lord would raise up younger generations who love Jesus and serve His church\, and for revival in our churches with Christ at the center of all things. As EFCC leadership meets this month\, pray for wisdom and clear discernment of the Holy Spirit. Praise God for encouraging reports of people coming to faith and growing in their walk with the Lord! \n\nTerry Kaufman – Leadership Catalyst\nAs we enter into the second month of 2026\, the biggest item on the agenda for me is our upcoming Leadership Week. Please pray with me for a productive and positive time together with the majority of the key leaders of the EFCC. Additionally\, please be in prayer with us as we work on a schedule for a number of Leadership Training events. Also\, please pray for ProjectLead\, our new campaign to help facilitate healthy leadership development. Thanks for praying with us as we continue to give focus to leadership development in the EFCC.
