SUMMARY:Part 4 - The Love Month
DESCRIPTION:“Love never gives up\, never loses faith\, is always hopeful\, and endures through every circumstance.” (I Cor. 13:7)\n“Love each other. Just as I have loved you\, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:34-35) \n\nWe are now doing video intros for the Prayer Guide! To watch this month’s Prayer intro\, click here. \nLet us pray for all our ServeBeyond/ServeCanada Missionaries & Agents:\nSammy Kabyemera – Uganda\nPraise that Sammy has safely returned from a fruitful Uganda mission (Nov–Dec 2025). By God’s grace and your support\, he ministered in church and leadership conferences\, schools\, families\, and children’s ministries\, sharing food with 158 families and clothing with 172 children and single mothers\, reflecting Christ’s love (Matthew 25:35). During this time\, 1\,435 people heard the Gospel\, 523 accepted Christ\, and 96 committed to baptism\, with the message also reaching Muslim communities through radio ministry. Please pray for the mission over the next six months\, as we focus on reaching unreached souls in refugee camps and schools while strengthening discipleship. Plans include Bible distribution\, pastor support\, discipleship resources\, and planting a discipleship-focused church. \n\nStephen & Jane Wheeler – Montréal\nPray for the new Bible Journey group that we lead at church after the morning service. Praise God that the first two sessions have been very well received. Pray for wisdom for us as we attempt to coach people to dig deeper into God’s amazing Word. Pray that we could empower them to find Scriptural answers and become less dependent on their favourite teachers to tell them what the Bible says. \n\nPaul Yang – Eswatini Medical Partnership\nThe Eswatini Parliamentary Select Committee (chaired by Hon. Mamaba) is investigating financial irregularities at the Eswatini Medical Christian University. Please pray that the committee members will conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that such incidents never happen again. \n\nSiavosh & Sophia – Ontario\nPlease pray for Iran with all that is going on in the country right now with the violent unrest that is causing great harm to the country. Also\, please pray for our church as we go through different growing pains and joys. \n\nJoy – Creative Access Country\nPraise the Lord that everything on my trip to Egypt went well. Please continue to pray for the poor people and the Sudanese refugees in Egypt. \n\nHelen Blackburn – Bolivia\nPraise the Lord that the house has been sold. The couple will move in around the end of April. Brayan has graduated high school and I was able to attend! Hopefully\, we will get English classes underway for the beginning of February. Please continue to pray for all of us\, Heather\, dorm parents\, national workers at the support center\, the boys and kids\, as school and studies get underway for a New Year. \n\nEvangelical Free Church of the Philippines\nPray for 200 new church plants and pray for 200 new church planters (perhaps the Lord will send some Canadian couples to plant churches). \n\nJonathan & Ashleigh Declet – Montréal\nPlease pray for Ashleigh as she returns to full-time French studies\, for mental resilience\, energy\, and continued joy in this season. Pray also for Jonathan as he covers a colleague on parental leave by overseeing a distance-education center for neurodivergent teens\, asking for wisdom\, healthy margins\, and grace in this expanded role. Please lift up developing partnerships with churches in the U.S. and Canada\, praying for discernment\, clear planning\, and meaningful crosscultural collaboration. Finally\, pray for Kodee\, Marek\, and Hendrick in their studies—for mental health\, faith\, friendships\, and resilience as they prepare for exams\, complete projects\, and continue to grow. \n\nEvangelical Theological College of the Philippines\nPray for these ETCP Personnel: Continue to pray for President Gabutan. The new ETCP academic Dean: Pastor Verse Cabatingan. Pastor Lowell Tallo\, who will focus on the post-college degree on Transformational Leadership Program\, along with President Gabutan. Pray that the Lord would provide the remaining budget needed for this mission\, as about one quarter of the funds have been raised\, and three quarters are still needed. Pray that God would stir the hearts of donors to give generously\, trusting His promise in Philippians 4:19 and that all be done for His Glory. \n\nArvid Olson – Ambassador to the Philippines\nPlease pray for Arvid as he is in the hospital recovering from a fractured sacrum (pelvis). He could be in the hospital for another 3-4 weeks\, pray he rests well during this time. \n\nRobert & Leslee Oudman – Nicaragua\nPray for cohesiveness for our team\, that we fulfill our role in sharing Jesus to the people God places in our path. Pray for lives to be changed as we teach the application and obedience of Biblical principles to farmers in the region. Pray for intentionality in everything we do. The end goal – to reflect the character of God in all we do.
