Week 2 – Forgive our Trespasses, as we Forgive…

Monday, July 8 @ 8:00 am - Sunday, July 14 @ 5:00 pm PDT

Prayer guide

“Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” ( James 5:13-16)

Joel Chiri – Paraguay
Please pray for my health. My blood pressure and everything is now normal but I still don’t feel well. They say it’s a side effect of the medicine and should clear up. Also, pray for the youth as I teach a class on “How to bring people to Christ” for the youth.

Steve & Jane Wheeler – Montreal
Pray for us as we prepare to coach a small group in finding biblical strategies for handling controversial issues. Pray for wisdom on how to best accompany friends who need to move closer to Jesus.

Daryl & Molly Porter – Ukraine
Please continue to pray for our dear brothers and sisters in Ukraine that are suffering under the present war. Pray for The Bridge Church and pastor Zhenya in Krivoy. Also pray for Adam and Luba Nikkel that are in Krivoy serving the church and orphans.

ServeCanada – Military Chaplains
Pray for our Military Chaplains:
● Peter Han in Esquimalt, BC
● Shiya Janzen in Regina, SK
● Chris Willis in Esquimalt, BC

K&L – Creative Access Country
K&L ask for prayer as (L) goes through radiation treatment for cancer. Pray for quick healing, and low side affects from the 3 weeks of treatment. Please also pray for pastors and churches throughout Ukraine who are facing financial struggles, safety, and very tired pastors. Praise God that churches are full, however almost all ministry falls on the pastors shoulders.

Kelvin Luong – CD Co-Superintendent
Praise God that 7 pastors have successfully completed the Pastor Orientation in June. Pray that they will have the discipline and perseverance to complete the accreditation process in good time. Pray for Just Church and Compass Community, our newest church plants in Ontario; that they will be well received among their respective target communities. Pray for wisdom and discernment for a potential new church planting initiative.
