Standing with the Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon
As the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has escalated, the already hard-hit country of Lebanon has been devastated. An estimated 1.3 million Lebanese have fled their homes seeking shelter in schools or make-shift shelter on the streets. Safety is a significant concern as the country continues to be bombed.
The EFCC’s ministry partner, The Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon is answering the call to minister in the chaos of war. Here are ways that you can pray for the country of Lebanon, and the ministry of the Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon during these war-filled days.
• Pray for peace – Pray that the war would end.
• Pray for displaced people, including Syrian refugees who have been forced to flee again.
• Pray for the leadership of the Evangelical Free Church of Lebanon – Director Joseph Najem and Missions Coordinator Daniel Saab.
• Pray for the congregation of the Evangelical Free Church of Lebanon – Pray they would not be filled with a spirit of fear, but be able to minister Christ’s love to those in need.
• Pray as the Evangelical Free Church of Lebanon assists families with life saving aid and humanitarian supplies.
• Pray for the spread of the gospel in the middle of this tumultuous time.
• Pray for the Evangelical Free Church of Lebanon’s goal to train church planters to plant churches during this time that will be places of safe haven.
