Neil & Henrietta Bassingthwaighte

Position: ServeCanada Director
Project: Home Office Staff 

Personal Journey | Neil has been a pastor in the EFCC since the early 1990s. He served congregations in Saskatchewan and Alberta before moving to BC for his current role. Neil desires to help people engage in mission across their backyard fences, in their hometowns, and in other areas of our own country. Neil is married to Henrietta, has three adult children, two of which are married, and two grandsons.

Current Ministry | As the ServeCanada Director, Neil encourages local churches and districts of the EFCC to work together in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. He also works on developing mission projects and partnerships in various areas of Canada. Neil provides leadership and direction to the rest of our ServeCanada missionaries.

Each restricted contribution designated towards an organization-approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that, when the need for such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions designated for such program or project will be used where needed most.
